Playbook for educators: anyone know what it looks like from student end?

Hi,

I am an instructor trying to follow the Playbook: Twitter for Educators.

I have selected a couple of students to be my guinea pigs and have invited them to my org account. They are sending me screenshots back that show that when they click on “Accept Invitation” in the email they get, that they are essentially directed into the standard developer application (do you want org access or individual access, etc.).

Is this what is intended? What is the correct response in order for them to be able to join my org account?

Thank you very much for writing in. This irregularity is not the expected behavior, and our team believes that we have identified the cause. It is going to take 24 hours to resolve. I will make sure to keep you updated on our progress.

The correct response is that your students should gain access once they accept the invitation, as opposed to being directed to the apply page.

Once the fix is in, the students will be able to use the invite email that they already received to gain access.

I will get back to you once we have implemented the fix.

We are in business. My ‘test’ students have been able to get in. I’ve got the screengrabs of what this process looks like, so now I can teach the rest of them what to do.

We start our Twitter unit in about 3 weeks. I don’t expect any issues now, but if we do have issues I know where to post my question! Thanks, you’ve been great getting this pulled together.
