Hello. I encountered strange behavior on Twitter. Twitter doesn’t find particular post on keyword search. It occurs on both Twitter Search API and Twitter.com site. Here is the fact;
Search “@RigniteInc #SocialMedia #SmallBiz” on Twitter Search API or Twitter.com.
Above should return/display all tweets which includes “@RigniteInc”, “#SocialMedia” and “#SmallBiz”.
However, the return value doesn’t include below tweet; https://twitter.com/dhuynh8/status/399526776419807235
I have checked troubleshooting on Twitter support page (https://support.twitter.com/articles/42646) however, I don’t see any matches with my case. Does anybody know why this happens?

The Search API and service isn’t all-inclusive… some tweets just aren’t indexed or don’t make the relevance-focused cut when results are returned.

Thanks for comprehensive information. Sounds like my issue is not a problem but within specifications.
