Hi. Sorry for the newbie question but I’m not very familiar with the API’s yet.

I want to know if there is any way to search a hashtag doing a partial search, i.e. kind of a “like” search in a database or a wildcard search in any SO?

What happens if you want to create a hashtag #DannyBoy but you don’t realize that there is already one created as #BoyDanny which is about the exact same topic.

I’d like to find a way to search for “danny” anywhere in the existing hashtags in order to discover current topics.

I’d appreciate any pointers on this. Thanks
