Page closes before I have a chance to view the tweet when I use the tweet button on websites

I don’t have a website, but when I use the Tweet button on anyone’s website, it opens up a new page, I then tweet, but then I can’t view the tweet because as soon as I tweet, the page closes. It didn’t use to do that and this new. I do not know how to resolve this. Thank you.

same issue - any updates the only way I can stop it is by providing a data-related or related option

This is currently standard behavior with the Tweet Button – when the user’s action is complete and there are no other pending actions (like offering related accounts to follow), it will attempt to self-close the window.
