Instead of entire home_timeline is it possible to get part of home_timeline content based on set of users (25/100 or so) ? screen names of 25 users will be specified in the api endpoint as an option
No this is not possible if I understood correctly. What exactly do you want to achieve by that?
too many followers exhausts the 15 api calls quickly only content from few followers’s seen if majority of them tweet frequently
For example more than one user(screenname) can be specified for search https://twitter.com/search?q=from%3Atwitter%20OR%20from%3Atwittersupport
Need a similar option for home_timeline
Sorry but what are you trying to do? It sounds you are confusing something here… You do not need to fetch Tweets for each follower separately.
For consuming a busy home timeline, you may want to switch to the Streaming API, instead of relying on the REST API.
