I think you’re right.
I have a simple Python/tweepy application that I use to manage just my own Twitter account and I’m now logging the different types of API calls the application makes. I’ve just got the “Unable to follow more at this time” message after following around 1,150 user in the last 24 hours.
To confuse things this is also counting follows outside of the application i.e. via twitter,com and also via statusbrew.com. I think I’ll start just logging the follows via the application.
The 1,000 per day follows limit doesn’t seem to be account based. I can still follow via statusbrew.com so in part it must be ACCESS TOKEN based?
