Hello,
it looks like the title and thumbnail have gone missing from the twitter oembed endpoint in the last 24 hours. We’re using these to display link previews.

Is this a deliberate change - and if not, are you aware of it?

Do you mean the publish.twitter.com oembed endpoint - can you provide an example of a call you’re making?

Hi Andy,

Apologies, I was incorrect in what specifically changed. I had some HTTP responses recorded from a few weeks ago for some tests so I have been able to check and compare exactly what changed. The oembed endpoint never provided this data.

However, it looks as if the opengraph tags on the twitter HTML have disappeared. There used to be opengraph description, title and image tags. Is this something that was removed on purpose?

Thanks for the clarification. You’re correct that some of the tags are not currently being rendered under the new Twitter web design, but this should be resolved in the future.
