Obtaining OAuth bearer token

I am following this documentation: https://dev.twitter.com/oauth/application-only

However, following those steps and correctly entering the consumer key and consumer secret I obtained from the ‘app’ I made, I get ‘UNAUTHORIZED_ACCESS’ ‘This request is not properly authenticated’

Not sure why it’s not working when I’ve followed what was documented.

You cannot use app only auth with the Ads API. You need to obtain a user context via 3-legged auth.
