Oauth Access Token invalid, re-connecting app results in error at /oauth/access_token: This feature is temporarily unavailable


Sprout Social has received reports from several customers that their oauth tokens are no longer working for requests to the Twitter API. Our support team directed them to re-auth our app with twitter by going through the oauth authorization flow.

However, when trying to exchange an oauth request token for an oauth access token by submitting the request to /oauth/access_token we receive a 500 error with the message ‘This feature is temporarily unavailable’. This is only happening to customers whose tokens suddenly stopped working; re-authing a functioning account or connecting a new account works without errors.


It’s been four days and this still isn’t fixed. Has any progress at all been made?


We are seeing numerous users encounter this problem, is there any way to expedite this?
