I am thinking about an app we can use as a comment system on our website. Users will authenticate and tweet their comments.
I would like to provide options, so that as they tweet:
- they can allow us to retweet their Tweet (comment) on a dedicated “Comments” account, and
- they can follow the “Comments” account.
Retweeting would allow us the moderate the stream, albeit with a delay, by unretweeting.
These actions would happen immediately and be the result of a wilful act on the part of the user. To encourage these choices, I would provide pre-checked checkboxes near the “Tweet” button.
Is that OK?
