There are two types of tweets that I cannot seem to unretweet:
The first are tweets from a user that has blocked me. I have tried to use the unretweet endpoint with the correct tweet ID. I get what seems to be a valid response from the API but the RT still shows in the public timeline.
Some very old RTs from around 2013 that are showing up in the media feed are showing the same unretweet behavior as described above. I cannot remove these from the public timeline.
Is there any way to purge this data?
It’s possible that the eventual consistency of this unretweet action hasn’t happened yet…
I’ll report this inconsistency to the team. It’s likely a transient issue.
