i want just nice colorful twitter

This is just not working. Twitter, please help with this. Twitter feed will not show on my web page. I have adjusted the www versus no www thing, I’ve added http and no http before the twitter widget address as has been suggested. Not working. Frustrating. RESPONSE?

I’ve been having the same problem at TheAffiliatePool.com Not sure what, if anything, has been done on the other end at twitter… I have tried multiple things, but the problem seems to be pretty wide spread from what has come through on this channel. What kind of website developer platform are you using @ScottBurnsRMT WP. Apache etc. I wonder if it is conflicting because of certain opperating systems because I see a lot of them working with particular platforms?

Allowing a site in DoNotTrackMe worked for me too. Thanks!

I found because I was redirecting to different domains I hadn’t had the final destination domain in the generated code to start with…

Make sure you have your domain names in your widget WITH www and WITHOUT it.

www.domain.com
domain.com

I spent 2 hours trying to figure out why mine wouldn’t work. ::headdesk::

P.S… how do I add a tag to a post, I.E. for Drupal?

Try this

To add this widget to Blogger, adding *.blogspot.com to Domains does the trick. Thanks!

Add *.blogspot.com to Domains and you’ll be GTG.

FOLKS! You just have to make sure the domains are accurate in displaying the feed. If you put you “own personal.com” and try to place the feed on other url/host - it will not appear. You can put 100+ domains in there if you want your twitter feed to display. Thats it.

yep, that done it for me!

Thanks

unfortunatly widgets not work for me so bad

Thanks for this advice. Fixed my Chrome problem. Really appreciate it.

Love the idea but it doesn’t work on my website :frowning:

I wanted the search option [Tweets about # …] if that makes any difference.

Wow! That worked for me as well so problem solved - thanks

Still no solution. Really ridiculous! Please get your team on this as there are a lot of desperate people trying to use your pretty widget.

this works for me too. thank you for the help!

I really hope there will pop up a solution somewhere…I’m thinking I’ve tried everything, and I want the widget very badly! But it still only gives the link…

:frowning:

Hi - I see I’m late to this, but after having read a lot of these solutions, and trying some of them, I am still getting Tweets by @… instead of an embedded timeline. I have put in all the different domain names, and tried (in an amateurish way) to alter the html code, to no avail.

I am not a coder, by any stretch, so it may be straightforward - I just can’t follow a lot of the advice here.

I had hoped that setting up a website with a twitter timeline embedded would not require any knowledge of coding etc, but as I just can’t seem to get it working, I have been drifting about various forums and giving it a go.

Please could someone at twitter help?

Thanks.

Still the same problem here, March 2013
