Here’s how I solved this issue. This should work for a lot of the people here.
I discovered that there is a recent change in blogger that complicates matters even further. Blogger has started redirecting users to country specific domains. For example if I live in India I will be redirected to address.blogspot.in rather than address.blogspot.com. This means that you need to type in 'address.blogpspot.in" and “www.address.blogspot.in” as well into the URL field for the widget to appear on the redirected country specific site.
There are two solutions to this. One is to go through the list of countries in which blogger has implemented country specific redirects and add all those URLs to the list. This is quite tedious as all the URLs don’t exist yet. The widget won’t accept URLs that don’t exist.
The other solution is to copy and paste the code below between the < head> and < /head> tags in your blogger template.
The code will prevent the redirection to the country specific sites and force everyone to view the “.com” version of the blog.
