Hi Zimo, there’s a run down of the new Twitter for Websites features in Brian’s blog post today (https://dev.twitter.com/blog/tweets-and-buttons), but in short: The new buttons do away with the full-image sprites we used to use, which means we can internationalize them more easily, and much faster than before. They’re also faster and more accessible. The design is cleaned up a bit too, and the Follow Button and Tweet Button designs are now unified.
Most of all though, they support our brand new Hashtag and Mention buttons, and the new large size buttons. Check out the button configuration at http://twitter.com/buttons to see them all in action.
