I’m really new to the twitter api, just practiced creating a simple bot. it waits for my test account to tweet and then replies to it. Problem is when I sign in from my test account, I can’t see my bot’s replies on my tweets.
Is this deliberate or am i missing something important?
Any insight would be appreciated.
It’s probably because it’s a brand new account and tweeting from the API - it might take some time for it to show up due to anti-spam things.

Ah I see. Is there any timeline I could expect? Also will I be notified if the bot finally becomes visible or if I’m accidentally breaking any rules?
No idea - i’ve seen others have the same issues - the anti spam things are unpredictable - all you can really do is make sure the account is in good standing (has a verified email and phone, clear description that it’s a bot and linking to you as the owner, etc)
