New Layout Header Image Dimensions

I would like to know the dimensions for Twitter’s new layout header image? Many of the images I am uploading are coming out pixelated.

The new header/banner suggested image dimensions are 1500px by 500px.

Whenever I make headers in the suggested dimensions, 1500 x 500 px they’re still looking pixelated? How can I avoid this?

I’m going to guess that 1920x500 will help the pixelation since that is (almost) as big as anyone will view it? Could have to do with compression to maybe.

Try saving the file at a crazy high size. I saved it as a png, 500 K and it looked so much better than when I saved for web.
