New character limit and json text from API

I have developed an android app based on Twitter API.

I’ve seen that now there is a new change for doing more with 140 chars.

But unfortunately I see it is much worse as now the API provides a https link to the web status but the full text is not provided in the json. The result - from the point of view of an app leveraging the API - is ugly.

Please advise, thanks.

Oh… I see I have to include tweet_mode=extended and change the code of my app by following this guidelines, looking for full_text instead of text (am I supposed to do anything else?):
it should solve my issue, right?
In which case, this can be closed.
