While I understand the desire to ensure only valid usage of the platform, I see a big problem with requiring a mobile phone number. We build apps for both internal use and client projects. Those teams will have turnover, so we can’t register apps against an individual’s account. And because you’re requiring the mobile number to be unique across all user accounts, that means we can no longer use a shared group account for this purpose.
Submitting a form for every instance of this adds further inconvenience to our processes.
And to echo other users here, my apps have also been failing since this weekend, and no combination of key resets will restore access.
