Negative Followers count

I’v been using the Streaming API for a month to collect data and prepare it for analysis. However, I noticed that there are users with negative values (particularly -1) in the followers_count, friends_count, statuses_count and favourites count fields.

What does this mean ? because I went and checked the profiles of those users, and they seem normal.

Typically this means that this data took too long to fetch and the streaming API elected to deliver the Tweet instead of waiting longer. This behavior is documented here: https://dev.twitter.com/docs/streaming-apis/processing#Missing_counts
