Hello all,
I am posting today as I am in need of help. I messaged the Twitter Support account in a Direct Message in early September, but I never got a reply. This is what I sent which basically sums up my issue:
“I applied for a Developer Account and waited around 2 weeks for a reply. I eventually got accepted and I was really happy to finally create some useful apps now that I had a Dev. Account. However, I created a bot to tweet when there was updates to a service, but the tweets go to this account. I wanted the tweets to go to another account that I would create for the bot. Is there a way to achieve this? (without reapplying for a different @handle ?)”
After getting approved for a Developer account, I went to create a useful bot that lets people know when there are updates to a service, but I realized that the tweets were coming from my account. I know that this is because I used my access tokens, but this was not my end goal. I wanted the bot to send the tweets from another account. As I said in the quoted message, is there any way to achieve this without going through the developer application process again just so the tweets will be sent from the other account? Can I get the other account’s access token and access token secret?
Thanks in advance,
Nevermind, I believe that I have solved the issue on my own. I may respond to this post or create a new topic if I have any more problems with the project. Thanks!

Hi Matt,
I’m glad you got the answer you needed. What did you end up doing to resolve the issue on your own?
If anything else comes up, please use the forums to reach our developer community as Twitter Support is handled by a different team.
Hamza
I got everything I needed through using twurl. It seemed difficult to work with at first, but I figured it out.
