Hello,
All was working well until a few days ago where it got suspended, all followers removed etc… I just got the email notification about the suspension yesterday mentioning possible reasons:
- Creating serial and/or multiple accounts with overlapping uses
- Evading a permanent suspension by creating or using another account
- Cross-posting Tweets or links across multiple accounts
- Aggressive following, particularly through automated means
and telling me in short “that’s all, don’t ask again, don’t reply we wont look at it”…
-
I do not have several accounts (yes I made this one. So temporarily I have 2. But only to actually get my case seen. I will delete this once this issue is resolved.)
-
I’m not now nor have I been evading a suspension (again this account is only so I can get some answers)
-
I’ve not spammed anyone, people on the platform have posed questions for recommendations, and I’ve provided some, along with thousands of other users, that didn’t have this issue.
-
I do not have any automated means of following anyone, nor would I consider my followers list aggressive, I think I may have had like 100-200 follows prior to ban (total…this doesn’t seem like a lot when others have thousands, and I’m sure in some cases even more)
I would really appreciate if someone could provide some clearer information as to why this happened. If I did unknowingly break some aspect of TOS, then I’d love to understand what happened so I can avoid it in the future.
But if my account was flagged because you think I’m a bot. I assure you I’m not. I would be happy to work with Twitter to provide any type of verification required in this case.
My account in question was created back in 2009. I didn’t really use twitter for many years, only recently did I actually start using the platform as I’ve gotten into NFT / Crypto space and am trying to leverage the platform (along with many others) to gather information and converse with others in the same space. The account was originally my name in 2009, since I’ve been using it in the past month, I’ve recently changed the handle (which twitter provides the ability to do. So I assume this is allowed)
The account name is @crypt0stone.
I must confess, this entire thing has been very frustrating as I can’t get a clear understanding as what has happened. No clear explanation about what is potentially wrong to help me fix it?
What can I do now? I don’t see where I would have broken the rules…and I would very greatly appreciate if someone from Twitter support could please look into this and get in touch with me to provide me guidance if TOS was actually broken, and if not , fix my account.
I eagerly look forward to hearing from someone. Thanks for your time and help in this matter. Apologizes for the long post.
Regards,
Matt Liedike
