My Tweets won't show in search when I add a link

Hi

When a post a Tweet with a link, shortened or otherwise, the Tweet will not show in the search.

Post the same Tweet without link and it appears in search.

I have checked my account settings and all looks to be in order.

Can anybody help?

I use Twitter in my grad class and four of my students have the same issue. Tweets with links won’t appear in our class search. Linkless tweets do. It’s not the easy answer of “protected” or “unprotected.” Something more diabolical – or simple Thanks for any help. And Mark, good luck to us.
