I created a new Twitter account for the idea of posting financial charts on Twitter on a periodic basis. Despite opting for the Bot option Twitter rejected my application by saying Not accepting the usecase. I checked Twitter documentation regarding rules and they do allow posting useful information. Yet I do not know how come they figured out why my developer account rejected? Is it against the rules tweeting Crypto charts on Twitter. Ain’t there many such bots who do that? How come mine is not allowed? I am not even sending hundreds of messages per day. At least hourlies(which I am not intending atm) or at most once in a day.
Is Twitter telling me I pick another platform to test my idea?
All of our developer applications are reviewed to ensure compliance with Twitter policy. While we can’t comment on specific cases, applications may be rejected if they are found to be in violation of any section of the Developer Agreement and Policy, Automation Rules, Display Requirements, and/or the Twitter Rules.
Additional information on restricted uses of Twitter APIs is available here.
There currently isn’t a way to edit a rejected application, or to re-apply, however stay informed for product updates/changes.
There are several existing topics on the matter. I’m going to close this one as it is a duplicate.
