Hi Team,

We had an app which was created earlier for our application. However the account with which it was created is missing.
As in process of further development (for adding new subdomain) we created a new app. However this app was being limited by twitter team.
This App has violated Twitter Rules and policies. As a result, certain functions will be limited. An email has been sent to … with details. For assistance, submit a support ticket.
We were suspecting that creation of new account for same domain is causing this issue.

We had the api key for the earlier account which we created. Could please let us know if we can retrieve the account using the key we had which can possibly fix our issue?

I don’t know if someone from twitter can help you, probably worth filling out this form Platform but, the first number part of an access token before the - is the twitter user ID of the owner (usually this would have been generated by the owner, so it’s a good chance this is the account you used)

IgorBrigadir Did you find any help? Mine is the same issue we are stuck and we are under development right now

@TeamIdeaOnce I’m not twitter so unfortunately i can’t help you with this - your best bet is Platform

Finally I got a response from Twitter:

Hello @TeamIdeaOnce,

Twitter has automated systems that find and disable abusive API keys in bulk. Unfortunately, it looks like your application got caught up in one of these spam groups by mistake. We have reactivated the API key and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Regards,
Twitter Platform Operations
