MoPub Mobile Web interstitials lack close button

Hi,
I’m integrating MoPub Mobile Web ads into my website. While integration is successful for banner ads, I have problem with interstitial (fullscreen) ads: interstitial ads are shown successfully but they lack some “x” (close) button. MoPub Integration instructions do not say that I have to implement close button myself or what APIs should I call on such custom implementation. Is there a solution?

We only support banner formats for mobile web integration. Therefore, what you are seeing is expected behavior, as we have not built out full screen functionality for mobile web. Additionally, you will find that Marketplace lacks demand for mobile web fullscreen formats.

Fullscreen is fully supported by our in-app SDK integration.
