Currently my company’s app had integrated MoPub with native ads mediation where FAN is one of the networks. The Audience Network SDK version we are using is 4.15 since that is the one listed at Supported Mediation Partners as certified version.
But starting from this week, we occasionally get alerts as ads from Facebook indicating we are using a version of SDK which will soon be deprecated. The alert links to an article on Facebook FAQs which urges developers to upgrade to version 4.18 or later as soon as possible and FAN will no longer be serving ads for clients using SDK version before that.
My question is, as the version is not currently listed to be a compatible version, is there any risk or known issues for us to upgrade the SDK version to meet Facebook’s requirements? Or is there any plan for MoPub to validate with a version later than 4.18 any time soon? The Supported Mediation Partners page was updated at 4/4 but the compatible version remains the same.
