Missing extended_entities on extended tweets (longer than 140)

I am not receiving the field extended_entities through sitestreams on the new extended tweets that are longer than 140 characters.

The field extended_tweet.entities seems to contain an “extendend entities” object, but the docs say both extended_tweet.entities and extend_tweet.extended_entities should be present.

You can just use entities instead of extended_entities. I found that the normal entities dictionary has informations for GIFs and videos, which is a different behavior from traditional tweets.

I’m not sure if this is applicable to the Streaming API, but for the REST API, tweets longer than 140 characters can be retrieved with extended_entities by appending tweet_mode=extended to the request. Perhaps the streaming API has an equivalent option.
