Media Not Returning From Tweet JSON

Hey guys,

I’m currently hitting the /statuses/user_timeline API to fetch tweets for a user and I’m not receiving media information such as a photo associated to the tweet. Is there a different endpoint or extra parameter that I need to send along with the request to get that information?

Likely to be tweet_mode=extended if the Tweet object in question has the Truncated: true field set.

Hey andypiper,

Thanks for the response. The tweets that are coming back has truncated: false set. Just in case I also tried passing in tweet_mode=extended but the media still doesn’t seem to come back.

In this case please provide specific Tweet IDs. Is the media from an associated URL / card or is it attached directly to the Tweet?
