Max height of media in embedded tweets

Is it possible to pass or enforce a common-sense height limit on media in embedded tweets? Specifically, for instances where the media is vertically oriented. On the website, media is letter-boxed to prevent the height appearing unreasonable, but in the embed code, the media always appears full-width.

I don’t want to hide the media entirely, but it also seems unnecessary to have it appear so large.
