In November, Twitter announced major updates to the developer platform. This included faster onboarding with Essential access and making the v2 API the primary Twitter API.

Today, we’re announcing an update that makes it easier to sign up for Ads API access. We’ve worked with the Developer Platform team to allow developers to sign up for the Ads API with Essential access. Previously, Elevated access was required.

With this update, the wait time for Ads API approval is significantly reduced, giving developers an easier and quicker onboarding experience.
