I would like to know if anyone has managed to make an AJAX call to Twitter to display its timeline. We have developed a AJAX script to query the user timeline but it is being displayed blank. The console shows the following error “XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://www.twitter.com/cnn/. No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. Origin ‘null’ is therefore not allowed access.”
As per our research this shows that the Twitter server is not allowing external domains from accessing it through Qlik. We do not want to reinvent the wheel circumventing known issues, especially if someone else has already done it.
