Hi! Looking for guidance on the most efficient way for us to do this:.
What the goal is
Starts with a specific user of our app also being a Twitter user.
We want to give that specific user access to add tweets, from twitter, to our app
Option 1: While in twitter the approved (by us) user would choose a tweet to add to our app, then select one handle in that tweet which adds that tweet to our app.
Option 2: Alternative option to that^ is copying the specific tweet URL to our app, and the user would then select the relevant handle. Not preferred because of the copy/pasting though.
Option 3: Or the user selects a group of handles in that tweet (if applicable), and sends the tweet and all selected handles to our app
It’s important that our app has an ability to categorize that tweet, which we can do in our app with a twitter handle.
Our app can categorize the tweet based on the twitter handle and associated (company, industry, etc) data that handle is categorized as.
From our side:
Our app would display that tweet to our users based on the category our app has identified that handle is in.
Showing that tweet to users in our app that also have profile settings selected to view those categories that tweet is in.
My question:
What is our most efficient path of accomplishing something like this? Any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated.

We’ve already explored a couple ideas…
One being to send all tweets from a twitter handle to our app.
The reason we don’t like that idea is our app would be flooded with twitter company accounts that post a lot. It dilutes the content value inside our app.
We also have enough people in each of our defined categories to help us crowdsource these tweets as we want too, and that way the content in our app is also more controllable.
Again any ideas, widgets, recommendations are very much appreciated. We’re looking for the most efficient way forward here but any guidance would be great.
Thank you!
