Location info

#1

I’ve seen some very interesting uses of Twitter to approximate footfall measures (the number of people walking past an area, i.e. part of a street, at a time - this is really useful for retailers) in academic and other work, which I’m interested in testing.

However, having checked your terms, the above use seem to violate the requirement not to “use or access the Twitter API to aggregate, cache (except as part of a Tweet), or store place and other geographic location information contained in Twitter Content”. I wanted to get clarification of this; whether storing tweet locations (lat/long) was or wasn’t permissible.

Many thanks
