Is this type usage from IFTTT allowed for other devs?

Hi all,

It’s not letting me link to it, but IFTTT lets you save filtered tweets (by account, keyword) in Google Sheets. Does IFTT has a special relationship with Twitter, or is this type of functionality OK for all developers (with essential and elevated accounts) to add to their commercial products?

I’m not quite clear on where the line is between something that is competing with the Twitter UI and something like this where filtered tweets are getting piped to a private “database” for viewing. Is it the fact that these tweets are being collected privately that makes it OK? If so, would it be OK if the spreadsheet was shared inside of a company?
