Is this allowable with the api?

Hey All,

Really new at development, but trying my hand at my first project with the Twitter API and wanted to make sure I was following the rules.

I am looking to scan one persons twitter stream to see how often they are using a keyword in their tweets. If I am following the 350 request per limit - am I ok to do this via the api?

You should find this possible to do within rate limits, provided you’re doing the counting of the keywords and processing their user timeline as documented here: [node:6213].

Thanks so much for the quick reply! If i was just doing this for 1 stream and just looking at the most recent tweet, I assume I would be fine?

Also, is the 350 request per hour the correct rate limit?
