Is there a way to invoke the photo upload functionality with web intents (it doesn’t display by default with web intents) or with any other form of canned tweets?

We want people to be able to upload a photo along with their tweet, where the tweet needs to be in a given format and with specific content (which the user will adapt), so web intents-like functionality is the best way to do that. There seems to actually be no way to do that. Which seems weird.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Attach a photo to a web intent

Or if there’s no way to achieve that using web intents right now, is there a way to open a users twitter app on their mobile phone if they’re clicking an intent link on a webpage, which populates in the tweet (into the Twitter app) and then using the camera functionality on the phone to take the picture (and add it into the tweet)?

This worked previously without the use of intents. Similar to @chrsoz we want to enable users to photo tweet directly from our app and photos.

Sorry for the delay here.

Presently, the only way to post a photo via the intent is to share a URL that has a photo card. This is good input, and we’re looking at ways to expand this.

If you DM me @rchoi, I can help explore other options.
