Is the RW permission enough to send a new DM?

Hi

Quick question on the Application Permission Model:

Can I send a DM only with Read / Write Permission.

The documentation is not clear… https://dev.twitter.com/docs/api/1.1/post/direct_messages/new

But I did find a FAQ discussing the new DM Permission that said “Read/Write applications will still be able to send direct messages, even after the enforcement date.”

Any thoughts?

The RW permission allows an application to send direct messages. The additional “RW+DM” permission is only necessary for providing GET operations on DMs.
