Is the "description" tag no longer supported by Photo Cards?

It’s listed as valid card property in the docs here: https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards/types/photo-card

But it doesn’t show up in the validator (https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards/validation/validator) when you select card type “photo”, and it doesn’t seem to be working for me.

Was this feature removed and docs are just out of date?

I’ve noticed this as well, but my photocards where approved whilst the description seemed to be supported.
