Is the streaming API service down?

I am using Spark Streaming to pull the tweets. But no tweets were printed in my console. Just i am able to see plain timestamps without actual tweets.

Also i am using twiiter4j v4.0.4. Is that a problem. Do i need to use any specific version.

Time: 1463174885000 ms

Time: 1463174886000 ms

Please help me on this.

The streaming API is not down although the status page has been wrongly reporting this for a few days and we are working to resolve that.

What API endpoint are you connecting to?

I am able to solve it. After i changed the spark job setting from local[*] to local[2] it ran fine.
