Is statuses/retweets_of_me limited to 500 tweets?

I know statuses/mentions_timeline will only return the last 800 tweets, does statuses/retweets_of_me only return the last 500? The docs don’t mention a limit but I’ve run it and got exactly 500 tweets back which seems too nice a number.
