We are looking the make use of Premium APIs for an academic research. However the funding agency requires pro-forma invoice for all expenses that will be made during the project, including the payment to Twitter. Is it possible to get a such preliminary bill for how much it will cost us to use a premium account for 24 months (the project will last 24 months)? I have tried to contact Twitter on https://developer.twitter.com/en/billing-faq twice, but I did not receive any reply. There is a deadline for the project proposals, so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
I don’t know if it’s possible to pre-pay - or change the month-to-month subscription to a 12 month one, but the prices for different levels of access are all listed when you “Upgrade” from https://developer.twitter.com/en/account/subscriptions/ where you can see exactly how much it will be per month for how many requests, so you can make your own estimate for your funding agency.
First though, i’d suggest making sure you have an approved application, because if your use case is bad, then you won’t be able to move forward with anything - by bad i mean something on the “restricted” list here: https://developer.twitter.com/en/developer-terms/more-on-restricted-use-cases.html
Hello @sinan.alper - Apologies for the delayed response.
We do not currently offer pro-forma invoices nor an estimation of costs for the next 24 months. You can see our current pricing here though:
We are actively working on several improvements to our billing system and will make sure to update our ‘stay informed’ resources with any developments.
