Is it possible for an application(a custom twitter dialog in a website) to issue a status update on behalf of a logged in user?

I have a requirement to provide a custom designed tweet dialog(in a website) with strings & image loaded to the user. Post the tweet on behalf of user, without any further authentication from user.

I wish to recreate the same functionality as http://twitter.com/home?status=test+http://url

Custom designed text box is a must, as requirement specifies a multi-platform share (fb,G+,Twitter,.etc.).

Need info regarding this.

Hey I have exactly the same requirements as you did. I am learning twitter api now just to get this requirement working.
Did you find any solution for this?
