I have a list of people (a few thousand) on twitter to reach out to via direct messages, and all of them have enabled the ability to receive DMs from any account. I have read https://help.twitter.com/en/rules-and-policies/twitter-automation (the Automated Direct Messages section). I know that we can manually send and it is not against the policy. Since there are a few thousand, I need to use API to reduce manual work. I am still not sure if it is considered as an automated way if I send DMs to those people via API. Or if I put the question in another way, is it permissible to use API to send DMs to a few thousand people who have enabled the ability to receive DMs from any account?
