iOS UIActivityController - animated gif limitations

Hello

is there any limitation made by twitter for animated gif uploads using the UIActivityController on ios?
I am trying to upload an animated gif and it will only work if it’s under 200KB.
If it’s above 200K it will be displayed as a single frame jpg.

There’s no limitation in the API to cause this. It may be something on the iOS side.
