Starting recently, whenever I enter the Twitter app’s auth flow from my iOS app, the ‘Connect’ button is disabled, and no amount of waiting or tapping will enable it. However, once I scroll the main view, it enables.

This only happens when the Twitter app is installed (i.e., when authorizing from the Twitter app and not Safari), which leads me to believe that this is an issue with the Twitter app itself and not TwitterKit or any other third party frameworks.

Additionally, my app’s icon is missing. It never shows up, even after the view is scrolled.

Any help in addressing this problem would be awesome. I don’t want to have to stop using Twitter in my app because of something that seems like such an easy fix.

+1, I have the exact same issue with my app.

I am seeing this issue again as well. The problem went away for a couple days so I marked my earlier post as resolved but it is back the same as it was before.

In order to activate the Connect button one must first scroll the cell up and down.

We totally understand that this is frustrating; however, the operation of the Twitter app on a specific operating system in this scenario is not directly a part of the developer platform. We’ll continue to funnel this feedback to the app teams, (and the behaviour may change between app releases and versions due to SDK variances); but we are not always able to affect specific and immediate app changes. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
