Description of issue:
When using a link from Kaltura on iOS if you click onto the specific tweet (not the URL) in the Twitter app, the video player loads inline but doesn’t work correctly - the play icon doesn’t go away when the video is playing and the player is not responsive.

URL affected (must be public):

[Troubleshooting steps]:
Click onto the specific tweet (not the URL) in the Twitter app, the video player loads inline but doesn’t work correctly - the play icon doesn’t go away when the video is playing and the player is not responsive. Please note that I am not able to validate the urls in the twitter card.

@Twitteerapi Hi any updates?

You’re responding to a post that is over a year old, can you please describe yourr current situation, and your expectation of behaviour?? Thank you.

#15

@andypiper thank you for your response, The expected behavior is that for the player to play inline within twitter instead of getting a redirect to a different page.

Currently we are gettings redirected to an external page

So you have a player card defined on a website and you’re saying that on the web (on on mobile?) it redirects you to a separate site? Is this in the timeline or in an individual Tweet?

#17

@andypiper Exactly.

Please provide the website URL and an example Tweet ID.
