The Twitter Developer Insider program aims to recognize and celebrate passionate technologists who demonstrated outstanding leadership in advancing the Twitter community — it’s a way for Twitter to thank developers who are consistently passionate about the Twitter API, and to recognize their meaningful contributions.

With the inauguration of this program, we are honored to announce our first set of Insiders for their incredible contribution to the growth of the Developer Platform. They are:

Janique-ka John

Janique-ka John was born and raised in St.Vincent and the Grenadines, where she first fell in love with computers and computing. During her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the University of the West Indies Cave Hill she discovered her love for programming and went on to pursue a Masters Degree in Applied Computer Science. She has been working in Brussels as a Software Engineer for the past 4 years and is also the Founder of the Women in Tech Caribbean Community.

Jamie Maguire

Jamie Maguire is a Software Architect, Developer, Microsoft MVP (AI) and Pluralsight Author. He is passionate about using AI and technology to help advance systems in organisations and many industries. Jamie is an active contributor to the technology community and has gained global recognition for articles he has written and software he has built. He is the founder of the social media analytics and productivity platform Social Opinion and maintains an open source SDK that makes it easy for Microsoft .NET developers to use the Twitter API v2. Jamie is also a STEM Ambassador and Code Club volunteer, inspiring interest at grassroots level. He shares his story and expertise at speaking events, on social media and through podcasts and interviews. He has co-authored a book with 16 fellow Microsoft MVPs demonstrating how Microsoft AI can be used in the real world and regularly publishes material to encourage and promote the use of AI and .NET technologies.
