Internal Proxy Image Service Error in cards

#1

Images get rendered from https://static.domain.com which points to Amazon Cloud Front

and my https://static.domain.com/robots.txt looks like this:

User-agent: Twitterbot
Disallow:

User-agent: Pinterest
Disallow:

User-agent: *
Allow: /robots.txt
Allow: /imagecache/*
Disallow: /

I get following logs in Card Validator

INFO: Page fetched successfully
INFO: 22 metatags were found
INFO: twitter:card = gallery tag found
ERROR: Internal Proxy Image Service Error (twitter:image0)
ERROR: Internal Proxy Image Service Error (twitter:image1)
ERROR: Internal Proxy Image Service Error (twitter:image2)
ERROR: Internal Proxy Image Service Error (twitter:image3)

One of the Meta Tag -

<meta property="twitter:image0" content="https://static.hometriangle.com/imagecache/media/3544/htr-image-light-right-467-3544.jpg?size=1200x630-3"/>

If I replaces the static.hometriangle.com to just hometriangle.com It works fine.

What could be the issue.

Looking for answers. Is it because of SNI ssl??

Sorry for the delay. we have a known bug around SNI; not sure what the ETA is. Will track with our eng team.

That said, is your comment about “removing static” mean that static HAS SNI enabled, and non-static does not? This may help us diagnose/troubleshoot.

Thanks!

yes, you are right …
static goes through amazon cloud front which is SNI enabled.
whereas , non static goes directly to server which is non SNI.

Thanks a lot!
