Interfacing with Twitter via a 3rd party API

I’ve been running an application that creates a daily tweet for over one year and since March I began receiving a Run-time error. The details are:

Run-time error ‘-2147467259 (80004005)’:
[261] Application cannot perform write actions. Contact Twitter
Platform Operations through
https://support.twitter.com/forms/platform.
There are no applications in existence for this account. I am using a 3rd party API via an ODBC provided by the company “CData Software,” which I am calling from an Excel macro that runs on my PC. Twitter Applications Management tells me my account, @serrabridge, does not “currently have any Twitter Apps.” I don’t know what else to do since there is nothing to delete. I believe I am in total compliance with Twitter Developer Policy and would greatly appreciate Write privileges via the 3rd party API restored.

You’ll need to talk to the provider of the third-party module that you are using to understand what is happening here, we are unable to assist via these forums.

My code works perfectly for the 3rd party using their Twitter account. I’ve been flagged by Twitter for some reason, having Write privileges via the API revoked. I’ve been trying for over two months to learn why Twitter revoked this privilege. NO RESPONSE. If I am violating any policy(ies), I would like to know what it or they are. As I stated, this application has been running for over one year without any problems and just out of the blue, I’m told “[261] Application cannot perform write actions. I see you are Twitter Staff. Would you be so kind and refer this to your IT Help Desk? If it’s a matter beyond a Level 1 tech’s knowledge-base or skill-set, I would hope it is escalated to the level possessing the knowledge-base or skills to remedy the problem.

No, I am unable to do that. You should contact the provider of the module (which appears to be CData Software in this case) as this issue does not relate to the use of the Twitter developer platform, and to the specific component you are using to access Twitter. Thank you.
