Incorrect favorited response when tweet is a retweet

It looks like when a tweet that is a retweet is received through home_timeline (possibly all endpoints) it defaults the favorited attribute to false always, even if favorites/create returns that it is already favorited. This is not visible on the website but through the rest endpoints it is visible.

Perspectival attributes are best-effort, especially when embedded within another object. If you’re wanting more consistency you’ll need to look up the core object in question or otherwise keep an in-memory consideration of the tweets a user has favorited.
